The HEARD Project

The HEARD Project, a new storytelling and poetry initiative for at-risk teens in Central Arkansas launched today. Developed, managed, and directed by Anna Kimmell, this project sends Teaching Artists to community sites and trauma centers for weekly workshops. Participating teens work to develop their own original stories and poems to be shared in on-site performances at each center and in a best-of performance on stage at Arkansas Repertory Theatre in April.
