Young artists express love for The Rep

Though performances have been suspended indefinitely, education programs at the Rep Annex will continue through at least summer.

​"Education has always been a really important part of the Rep's mission," Director of Education Anna Kimmell said. "And it's really important we see through our commitments through the summer."

Kimmell said she is hopeful that a renewed vision and help from donors will provide a place for her current students and other young artists to continue learning for years to come.

"When I've spoken to a number of them and sort of tried to calm their fears about it, they just feel safe and they feel like this is their place," she said. "And it would be very hard for them to lose their place."
